Take Back Your Time

Any of this sound true for you?

  • You make a plan for the day and interruptions destroy the plan.
  • You can’t get anything done until everyone else goes home for the day.
  • You get home from work and your mind is still working.
  • Another day gone by without doing the exercise you know you need.
  • Another day gone by without taking even a moment to stop and smell the roses.

There’s no use. Might as well give up and give in.

PLEASE – say NO to all of that. Use Take Back Your Time Day (October 24) as a nudge or challenge to Take Back Your Time.

And if you need an outside influence or excuse, say that Vinnie made you do it. That’s him, pictured below.

Take Back Your Time

It isn’t easy to take it back. One reason…sneaky time goblins can make us think we are doing real important stuff. Sometimes that’s true. Sometimes it’s not.

What is it that you REALLY need to be doing as the leader of your team?

What’s keeping you from spending more time doing that?

We identify ten of the most common time goblins in Bite Size Bits for Business.

Chasing just one of these goblins away could free up hours every week.

Go ahead – take back your time.

It’s yours.

Post this week’s quote on the walls. Post on your computer (see instructions below). Post it everywhere as a reminder to TAKE BACK YOUR TIME. A terrific strategy for boosting morale, productivity and overall performance.
