By: Jan BolickSome people look at the Quote of the Week from Martin Luther King Jr and say to themselves or others something like, “Yeah – I have a dream or two. But what difference does it make? I’m just little ol’ me.”
And many of us don’t bother to take a stand - because – well – we feel too small to make a difference.
Even those of us who have been selected or elected as leaders – sometimes fail to step up and truly lead because well – what difference would it make?
And sometimes we don’t put as much energy into our work as we might, because we don’t think it will matter so much to anyone.
Post this one prominently as an important reminder that you can make a difference. We all can. *
* But I would like to put in a plug for making a positive difference using positive methods (not lots of biting that results in lots of red bumps that itch like crazy).
